DRAWBARS / COLLETS A collet spindle allows you the versatility to change cutter sizes if needed or to switch from a split to a solid collet. Simply replace the drawbar and collet to the desired size. A. Split Collet - Used for holding cutters solidly while doing light milling, cutouts, & other heavy engraving. Collet spindles hold both long & short cutters. B.
